Just in from our friend cruising in Exumas. These past few days and weeks have seen several more thefts of Center Console boats in the Bahamas. This morning, April 6, at approximately 4:00 a.m. while anchored off of the island of Highborne Cay, a large yacht �Relentless� had their 28� Intrepid stolen from behind their large yacht. looking for dock space

Marianne - I'm looking for a dock to keep my boat for a month or so this summer. I would prefer Nassau but am open to other locations. I would be looking for something inexpensive as i wouldn't live on it, just visiting on the weekends. maybe at a private house?

I tried to search for it on the web but didn't much results. is there classified ads for this kind of thing?

cold front coming, freeze warnings for Northern Palm Beach county..... found new webcam
at rockybay in the Abacos. Rocky Bay

Stolen Boat is FOUND

Our 26 Intrepid stolen Friday was found Saturday afternoon abandoned with engines stripped. It was on a beach in the mangroves past Marsh Harbor headed toward Treasure. Thank you to all who may have kept their eyes open for us!

Interested to know if anyone has sailed over recently from the West End of Grand Bahamas to Florida. We are not sure of the most expeditious route. Our final destination will be Ft. Lauderdale. We are thinking of going southwest until the current get's too strong (hopefully we'll have some wind in our sails) and then head northwest. Then take the intercoastal down from either Jupiter or West Palm Beach. If anyone has done this "crossing" recently, if you could share some advice ...

We do have a diesel limit of 200 gals, however the fuel barge�s erratic delivery schedule can cause us to stop selling diesel without notice in order to keep fuel for our generators to provide electricity to the island. I have a 44 motor vessel and go over at least 5 times per season. We have visited many different places and enjoy all the islands from the tourist traps to the desolate locations. I would love to talk about cruising with other Bahamas fans.
